COVID-19: Uzbekistan has lifted quarantine restrictions on tourists from 11 countries:
- Abolition of international flights (entry, exit and transit) from South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Madagascar, Lesotho, Eswatini, Tanzania and Hong Kong;
- Refusal of entry into the territory of Uzbekistan for citizens of third countries who have stayed in these countries in the last 14 days;
- Lifting the procedure for mandatory home quarantine of passengers entering the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan from Australia, Austria, Belgium, Germany, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Israel, Italy, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic and Egypt within 10 days of entry into the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan, or accommodation in a hotel at their own expense for quarantine

According to the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Health, the number of citizens infected with coronavirus in the last 24 hours reached 228,796 (+887) on 5 February 2022.
New cases of coronavirus infection were detected:
8 – in Syrdarya region;
12 – in Navoi region;
17 – in Namangan region;
18 – in Jizzak region;
19 – in Andijan region;
20 – in Bukhara region;
20 – in Kashkadarya region;
32 – Republic of Karakalpakstan;
41 – in Khorezm region;
45 – in Surkhandarya region;
49 – in Samarkand region;
61 – in Fergana region;
107 – in Tashkent region;
438 – in Tashkent.
