Day 1: Day of Arrival (-/-/-)
Arrival in Almaty. Transfer to the hotel.
Day 2: Almaty - Homeland of apples (B/-/D)
Breakfast at hotel. We will visit the Green Bazaar (does not work on Monday), where it is impossible to refrain from shopping. Then the tour will continue in one of the oldest Almaty parks - Panfilov Park, where one of the most beautiful wooden building in the world - Zenkov Cathedral is located. After exploration of sport, cultural and business areas of the city you will get to the Medeo Gorge, well known due to the highest mountain skating rink in the world and Shymbulak resort. Next destination is the Kok-Tobe hill where the tallest TV tower in the world is located (if to count from the sea level) and where you will get by the picturesque winding mountain road. In Kok-Tobe Park you can stroll along the winding paths of the park, admire the magnificent panorama of the city from the special observation deck and visit the shop of national souvenirs. The tour ends with the short ride from the top of the hill to the center of the city by the famous Almaty cableway. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Almaty – Charyn Canyon – Almaty (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel. Today you will have a day trip to Charyn Canyons. It is one of the unique natural monuments of Kazakhstan. The Canyon is about 12 million years old and surprises with its vertical cliffs, reminding the ancient castles, created by wind, sun and rain. It will take about 3 hours to reach the canyon. Meanwhile, you will hear a lot of interesting about the history and nature of the region, about Kazakh people, their life and traditions. And as soon as you see Charyn Canyon you will forget about this long way at once - so much you will be impressed with the beauty and splendor of the canyon. You can admire the grand panorama and then have a walk through the maze of the Castles Valley with its inaccessible walls overhanging you. Lunchbox in Charyn Canyon. Back transfer to the city. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4: Almaty – Kyrgyz border 'Kordai' – Bishkek (B/-/D)
After breakfast at hotel transfer to the capital of the Kyrgyz Republic – Bishkek. Bishkek is situated at about 800 meters (2,600 ft) altitude near the northern range of the Kyrgyz Ala Too range. This range is an extension of the Tian Shan mountains, which rises up to 4,855 meters (15,928 ft) and provides a spectacular backdrop to the city. The distance from Almaty city to Bishkek is 230 km. It will take about 4 hours for the transfer. On the way you will pass a border control. This entire day is dedicated to a guided tour of Bishkek. It includes visiting Pobeda Square (Victory Square), Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Central Ala-Too Square, the National Arts Museum, National Philharmonic, and many others places of interest. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5: Bishkek – Burana – Issyk Kul northern shore (B/-/D)
Breakfast at hotel. Your guide will pick you up at 8 a.m and you will be transferred to Issyk-Kul Lake, surrounded by the celestial mountains. It’s the second largest alpine lake in the world (1608 m. above sea level). The lake is called "the pearl of Central Asia". Due to the salty water, Lake Issyk Kul possesses curative qualities. On route you will visit Burana Tower. It is a minaret from the 11th century. Burana Tower was used during the Great Silk Road as a sign for travelers that there was a city to have a rest. Nearby you will see an open air museum of Balbals (stone warriors). These grave stones that look like warriors – they were made in honor of brave soldiers that died for their Motherland. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel.
Day 6: Issyk Kul Lake – Bishkek – Osh (B/-/D)
Breakfast at hotel. In the morning we will visit a place where you will see ancient pictures on stones! They are called petroglyphs. These petroglyphs were made more than 2 000 years ago by shamans. All these stones are still at the same place as they were at that time. You can see a panorama view of the Issyk Kul Lake from this place – people were thinking that it was the middle of the world. After an excursion you will visit a museum in Cholpon-Ata. There are many attractive things from the Kyrgyz history, handicraft, music instruments and a lot of other interesting artifacts. Afterwards we will drive to Bishkek city. In the evening you will transfer to the airport for flight to Osh city. Dinner at local restaurant in Osh. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7: Osh – Uzbek border Duslik (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel. In Osh city you will have a walk and will get to visit a famous and special place – Suleiman Mountain. Suleiman Too (Solomon’s Mountain) is situated in the city center and it is considered a place of pilgrimage for local Muslims, because according to the legend, biblical prophet Solomon (Suleiman, in the Koran) was buried at the foot of it. Afterwards is transfer to Uzbek border Uzbekistan - Kyrgyzstan. After the border formality we will drive to Andijan. We will visit the city Andijan, Lunch at the restaurant in Andijan and we drive to Ferghana. Check-in to the hotel, Dinner at the restaurant in Ferghana and overnight at the hotel.
Day 8: Experience the industrial history of Uzbekistan (B/L/D)
After breakfast at the hotel we will visit Ferghana and then we will drive to Margilan. In Margilan we will visit the silk factory "Yodgorlik", the orient-bazaar and then we will drive to Rishton. In Rishton we visit the family who produces ceramics. We drive to Kokand, Lunch at the restaurant in Kokand and we visit historical city Kokand. Your Tajik guide will meet you at the other side at 15:00. You will continue your drive to Khujand city. Dinner at the local restaurant in Khujand. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 9: Khujand – Uzbek border Oibek (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel. Khujand city is the second largest city of Tajikistan. It is situated on the Syr-Darya River at the mouth of the Fergana Valley. The population of the city is 149,000. It is also the capital of the northernmost province of Tajikistan, now called Sughd. You will visit a Cultural Palace of Khujand. At this place the first president of Tajikistan was chosen. Also we will go to see Central Mosque that is situated in the middle of the city. Afterwards is transfer to Uzbek border Oibek by 15:00 pm. After the border formality we will drive to Tashkent. Dinner at local city restaurant and overnight at the hotel.
Day 10: Tashkent - a city where modern and old stand side by side (B/-/D)
After breakfast at hotel we will start our Tour in Tashkent. Tashkent, the capital of the Republic of Uzbekistan where the history of modern and old stands side by side is located in the northeast of Uzbekistan and with circa 3 million inhabitants the biggest city in Central Asia. Along with modern hotels, restaurants, theatres, cinemas, opera, disco, oriental bazaars, the city also offers a thousand years of history. We will visit Khazrati Imam Complex consisting of Barak Khan Madrasa (XVI c.), Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum (XV c.), Muyi-Mubarak Mosque – storehouse of the well-known Koran of Khalif Osman and gold hair of Prophet Muhammad, Djuma Mosque of Khodja Akhrar Vali. Dinner at local city restaurant and overnight at the hotel.
Day 11: Samarkand - travelling through the treausure of Temur (B/-/D)
After breakfast at hotel Transfer to Tashkent Railway Station and we will drive by Train to Samarkand (dep. 7.30 & arr. 9.40). We will visit in Samarkand the three Medressen of the Registan - the Ulugbek-Medresse (built 1417-1420), the Sher-Dor-Medresse (1619 - 1636) and the Tillo-Kori-Medresse (1646 - 1660). The legendary Timurid mausoleum Guri Amir (XIV-XV century) enchants the viewer with its golden interior decoration. Dinner at the local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 12: Samarkand - travelling through the treausure of Temur (B/-/D)
Breakfast at hotel. You will enjoy hearing some legends while visiting the Bibi-Chanum Mosque and the Medresse (XIV century). We visit the traditional oriental "Siyab Bazaar". Near the Siyab bazaar there is an ensemble of Shohi-Zinda (the living king, "IX.-XIV century), one of the world's most famous group of mausoleums, which fasinate you with its beautiful architecture. Next we will visit the famous Ulugbek Observatory (1428-1429 which was built on one of the hills of Chupanata). The observatory was a unique design in his time. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 13: Bukhara - Pearl of the Orient (B/L/D)
After breakfast at the hotel we will drive to Bukhara. In Bukhara we will visit Poyi Kalon Ensemble consisting of Kalon Minaret (12th c.), Kalon Mosque (12th c.), Miri Arab Madrasah (16th c.), domed bazaars Toqi Zargaron (15th c.), Toqi Telpak-Furushon (16th c.) and Toqi Zaroffon (16th c.). Continue we will visit Lyabi-Khauz Complex (14-17th c.) and Nodir Devonbegi Madrasah. Dinner at Nodir Devonbegi Madrasah along with traditional folklore program. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 14: Bukhara - Pearl of the Orient (B/L/-)
After breakfast at hotel we will visit Citadel Ark (4th c. BC), Bolo-Khauz Mosque (beginning of the 20th c.), Samanides Mausoleum (9-10th c.), Chashmai Ayub (14th c.). Lunch at local city restaurant in Bukhara. Afternoon we visit: Sitorai Mokhi-Khosa Complex, summer residence of the last Emir (ruler) of Bukhara, Bakhouddin Naqshbandiy Memorial Complex, Chor Bakr (19th c.) and Chor Minor. Free time and overnight at the hotel.
Day 15: Drive through the red wonder! (B/-/D)
After breakfast at hotel we will drive to Khiva. A drive destination from Khiva to Bukhara is 480 km. While driving through the desert Kysyl-Kum (Red Sand) you experience the unique expanse of desert landscape in Central Asia. The Kysyl-Kum Desert is about 200 000 square kilometres and it partly lies in the territories of Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. It is covered with red sand from which the name of the desert derives. On the way to Bukhara we make a short stop at the teahouse "Bukhoro-i-Sharif", where you can have lunch or just relax and drink tea. In Khiva check-in at the hotel. Dinner by live music at the local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 16: Khiva – Museum under the open sky! (B/-/D)
After breakfast at the hotel we will visit the historical city “Ichan Qala”. Dinner at the local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 17: Oasis city of Kunya Urgench! (B/-/D)
After breakfast at the hotel is transfer to Uzbekistan - Turkmenistan border. After the border formality we will drive to Kunya Urgench. In Kunya Urgench we will visit the historical monuments Ak Kala (15-17th c.), Gurganj, Komplex ibn Khadjib (14-16th c.), lunch at the local restaurant. Transfer to the airport Dashoguz and Fly to Ashgabat. Dinner at the restaurant in Ashgabat. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 18: Ashgabat - the treasure in the desert! (B/-/D)
After breakfast at the hotel we will visit the historical places Ak Depe (ruins from the 4-3th BC), Anew (5-3th BC), and historical museum in Ashgabat. Lunch and Dinner at the local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 19: Kingdom of Margiana! (B/-/D)
After breakfast at the hotel Transfer to the Airport and we fly to Mary. In Mary we visit the ruins of Alexandria (Antiochia) and region Margush: Sultan Kala (10-11th c.), Erk Kala (7th bc.), Gonur Tepe (Epoch of the Bronz), Gyaur Kala (IIIth bc.), Karavansaray Dandanakan (MA.), Kyz Kala (8-12th c.), Mausoleum Askhabov (15th c.), Mausoleum Sultan Sanjar (12th c.) and Muhammad ibn Said (12th c.) mosque-mausoleum. Lunch and Dinner at the local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 20: Ashgabat - the treasure in the desert! (B/-/D)
After breakfast at the hotel transfer to the airport and we will fly to Ashgabat. Check-in to the hotel, we visit the historical monuments in Ashgabat and Ruins of NIssa. Dinner at the local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 21: In the morning transfer to the airport and departure.
